Terms of Service

Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using Narrative Field, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18, able to enter a binding business agreement, and authorized to act for any organization you represent.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Narrative Field provides

Narrative Field lets authorized users submit Facebook groups for administrative review, create monitoring prompts, receive contextually identified posts, and configure supported notifications. Group access, processing volume, channels, and usage limits depend on your plan.

Results are generated by automated collection and AI-assisted classification. A “match” is an operational recommendation, not a guaranteed lead, endorsement, factual verification, or legal conclusion. You remain responsible for reviewing a post before acting on it.

We may modify or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law or platform requirements, or improve the service. Material reductions to a paid service will be communicated where reasonably possible.

Facebook access and platform permissions

You may submit only groups and content you are lawfully entitled to access and monitor. For private groups, you must have valid membership and any notices, consents, or approvals required by law and platform rules. Do not bypass access controls or ask us to obtain content unavailable to an authorized account.

Under Meta’s Automated Data Collection Terms, automated collection may require Meta’s separate express written permission. We may decline, pause, or remove coverage where the required authorization is absent, revoked, disputed, or technically unavailable. You agree to comply with Facebook terms and applicable law, but your compliance obligations do not replace permissions Narrative Field itself may need.

Acceptable use and customer responsibilities

You are responsible for account security, authorized users, monitoring prompts, group submissions, notification recipients, and use of results. You must not:

• monitor people or groups for unlawful discrimination, harassment, stalking, doxxing, surveillance of children, or other harmful profiling;
• submit secrets, special-category personal data, payment-card data, authentication credentials, or content you lack rights to process;
• resell raw captured Facebook data, build individual profiles unrelated to a legitimate purpose, or use results for spam;
• probe, reverse engineer, overload, bypass limits, or interfere with the service or another customer;
• use notifications without required recipient consent, including WhatsApp or marketing-consent requirements;
• violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or third-party platform rules.

We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the service.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the billing interval shown at checkout until canceled. Prices, group limits, channel allowances, and usage inclusions are displayed at purchase. Taxes may apply. Stripe processes payments and provides the billing portal.

You may cancel through the billing portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless law requires otherwise. One-time add-ons, including notification packages, are non-recurring and subject to the conditions shown at purchase.

Cancel through the billing portal to prevent future renewals. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; processing time depends on Stripe and your payment provider.

Failed or overdue payment may result in reduced functionality or suspension after reasonable retry and notice attempts.

Availability, warranties, and liability

Facebook feed availability, account access, network conditions, page changes, model-provider responses, and third-party delivery systems are outside our full control. Narrative Field captures and evaluates every post Facebook makes visible to our authorized monitoring account. We cannot collect posts Facebook does not make available to that account's group feed, and we do not promise that automated classification will always be correct or that a result will be delivered within a fixed time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Narrative Field will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees you paid for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. These exclusions do not apply where prohibited by law.

You will defend and indemnify Narrative Field against third-party claims caused by your unlawful prompts, group submissions, notification practices, content, or material breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Suspension, termination, and data

You may stop using the service and request deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, unlawful activity, nonpayment, missing platform authorization, or where continued operation creates legal or technical risk. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure.

After termination, access ends and data is handled under the Data Retention Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including payment, confidentiality, ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue to apply.

Ownership, changes, and disputes

Narrative Field and its licensors own the service, software, design, documentation, and aggregated operational know-how. You retain rights in your prompts and customer-provided materials and grant us a limited right to process them only to provide, secure, and support the service.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and communicated where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Before filing a claim, contact support@narrativefield.com so we can try to resolve it. Applicable law and the courts with lawful jurisdiction govern disputes; mandatory consumer or data-protection rights remain unaffected.
