Optional product and website analytics
When you select “Allow analytics,” PostHog and Firebase Analytics may receive page title, page path, site origin, general device/browser information, approximate location derived by the provider, and basic interaction or performance information.
Narrative Field excludes URL query strings and does not include monitoring prompts, captured posts, magic-link tokens, or notification destinations in analytics events. After an account holder consents and signs in, PostHog receives the account's internal user ID, name, email address, role, and selected product actions so visits and conversions can be understood across the website and dashboard. Dashboard text and all form inputs are masked in PostHog session recordings. We do not use advertising cookies.
PostHog may use first-party cookies and browser storage to keep an anonymous visitor ID and session context, typically for up to one year unless you clear browser storage or withdraw consent.
If you select “Essential only,” the analytics module is not initialized. If you later disable analytics, collection is turned off for the current page and remains disabled on future page loads.
Third-party services
Stripe, Slack, Twilio, Resend, and other service providers may use their own required technologies when you open their pages, billing portal, or communications. Their cookies are controlled by their respective policies. Narrative Field cannot manage storage placed on a different provider’s domain.
